We were honoured to receive two visitors from Malta recently. Paul and Josette Mifsud enjoyed their tour of the museum and were really pleased to see the displays about the Siege of Malta (1940-42).

Malta and all of its inhabitants won the George Cross at the end of the Second World War for their role in defending the Island, for their bravery, courage and heroism in the face of adversity. And the Cheshires were a key part in this. Malta was one of the most intensively bombed areas during the whole war.

The museum displays and artefacts tell the story.
