The Queens Own Yeomanry has bid farewell to Commanding Officer, Lt. Col Potter who has successfully steered the Queen’s Own Yeomanry for the past two and a half years. Lt. Col Potter came to the Yeomanry from the Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry following a career in law and as a pilot.

Lt. Col Potter said, “I would like to express my sincere thanks to all ranks of the Regiment for their support during my time as Commanding Officer and for their dedication and service in the Army Reserve – twice the citizen.”

Taking command as Commanding Officer, Lt. Col Mackain-Bremner from the The Royal Dragoon Guards commented, “it is a great privilege to take command of such a fantastic regiment and I look forward to the challenges and rewards of the next two and a half years.”
