The Queen’s Own Yeomanry C Sqn attended the National Memorial Arboretum for a Remembrance Weekend service. The squadron spoke with HRH The Princess Royal and laid a wreath at the Cheshire Yeomanry memorial which has a full-size, rearing war-horse sculpture made from the parts of vehicles in use by the regiment. They also joined the service of commemoration in Chester with other local units, alongside services involving the regiment in York, Wigan and Newcastle. Afterwards many had the opportunity to host veterans and families to speak and share stories of both past and present, maintaining bonds between the current regiment and its veterans.
